The recent news about the federal eviction moratorium extension has created confusion among property managers, landlords and tenants as to what the ‘rules of the road’ are going forward. While the federal government is still working out the details of the eviction moratorium extension (and determining its legality), it is important to remember that there are currently billions of dollars in assistance available to landlords and tenants. Links to these resources are provided below, and in many cases, landlords or property managers can apply for relief on behalf of their tenants.
Please note - California’s state eviction moratorium is still in place and supersedes the federal moratorium. If anything changes on this front, we will inform you as soon as possible.
