These three items on your dues invoice are completely voluntary, but recommended. Voluntary contributions to these three funds help to ensure that you can continue to operate in an environment that is favorable to your real estate business, protects private property rights, and promotes homeownership in our communities. You can contribute the suggested amount, increase your contribution or choose to forgo making a voluntary contribution.
RAF funds are used advocating on key issues, supporting candidates who share our priorities and support advocacy efforts to craft quality policies and legislation. RAF funds are used to protect private property rights, homeownership and your business through legislative advocacy efforts. These funds may be put towards directly supporting a candidate or ballot initiative issue.
The Greater Los Angeles REALTORS® Charitable Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing funds, professional assistance and assets to individuals and organizations in need.
All monies raised are used to specifically assist for the following issues; housing needs, neighborhood improvements in depressed areas and other housing-related goals all approved by the Greater Los Angeles REALTORS® Association Charitable Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors.
A contribution to the charitable foundation is your chance to make a direct impact in your community.
The Centennial Club, established in 2003, was created to bring the most current legislative and political information to the members of the Greater Los Angeles REALTORS®.
There have been changes to the structure that make it much easier to understand and create a stronger and influential force of the REALTORS® in creating public policy.
To join the Centennial Club:
Contribute $148.00 to the REALTOR® Action Fund (“RAF”) at C.A.R. This will entitle you to:
a. Attend our 2024 Legislative Luncheons & Gratitude Mixers
b. Recognition at CAR as a contributor to the “True Cost of Doing Business”.
c. Be eligible to attend fundraisers and events where GLAR and C.A.R. have made contributions.
d. Attend the annual Capitol Reception at C.A.R.’s Legislative Meetings in Sacramento.
